This week Year 9 completed their water rocket challenge. The winning rocket was made by Mon, Tan Tan and Thomas
The winning rocket achieved a height of 28 metres (found by measuring horizontal distance travelled and the maximum angle of elevation, and then calculating height using trigonometry).
The parachute slowed the rocket's fall allowing it to remain in the air for 5 seconds.
